MAYFIELD GIN MIXOLOGY

DIABOLICALLY DELECTABLE gin serves

i. THE UBIQUITOUS SUSSEX GIN&TONIC

1 part Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 2 parts quality Indian Tonic Water, stir with cubed ice, garnish with a slice of lemon.

> Serve in a highball or balloon glass.

ii. THE MAYFIELD NEGRONI

30ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 30ml Sweet Vermouth, 30ml Nardini Amaro, a dash of grapefruit bitters (or Angostura/orange). Stir with ice and then strain into a glass over ice, garnish with an orange peel twist.

> Serve in an old fashioned glass.

iii. MAYFIELD 75

35ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 15ml Gabriel Boudier Triple Sec, 25ml fresh lemon juice, 15ml sugar syrup, a dash of Angostura Bitters. Shake, fine strain and top with Prosecco. 

> Serve in a cocktail/martini glass.

iv. THE MAYFIELD 'HOPPED' COLLINS

50ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 25ml fresh lemon juice, 15ml IPA syrup, a dash of grapefruit bitters and top with soda. Garnish with dried hops and a twist of orange.

> Serve in a collins glass.

v. MAYJITO

50ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 25ml fresh lime juice, 20ml sugar syrup, churn with ice and seasonal berries. Garnish 'seasonably'...this recipe can be adapted for summer and winter serves.

> Serve in a highball or collins glass.

vi. THE BLOODY MAYFIELD

50ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 20ml fresh lemon juice, 100ml quality tomato juice, a pinch of salt and pepper, a dash of tabasco, a few dashed of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, roll or throw (don't shake) over ice and garnish with a roll of cucumber and orange slice.

> Serve in a highball, collins or rocks glass.

vii. THE MAYFIELD GIN MARTINI

Wash over ice with 15ml Vermouth, discard liquid and keep ice. 65ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, stir the gin over the ice, strain and garnish with a twist of orange. Optional: A dash of hop bitters (ratios can be adapted to create a 'wetter or dryer' martini.

> Serve in a martini or coupe glass.

viii. THE MAYFIELD APA/IPA SOUR

Muddle a lime into a glass with ice, add 50ml Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin, 15ml sugar syrup, three dashes of Angostura Bitters, stir over ice and top with a quality Sussex IPA/APA. 

> Serve in a collins glass or rocks glass.
