It’s time for a tale of some very fine craft gin liqueur. Crafted using Mayfield Sussex Hop Gin as a gin base. Natural and ethically sourced rhubarb and ginger are used to create this vegan-friendly gin liqueur.

The Cuckoo Line is an informal name for an old Victorian railway line that ran through Mayfield and a number of other East Sussex stations. Nicknamed ‘The Cuckoo Line’ by train drivers from a tradition they observed at the annual fair in one of the towns, Heathfield.
The fair took place every year, held in April, a lady would release a cuckoo bird from a basket, marking the first cuckoo of Spring. The old railway line doesn’t run anymore but a footparth and cycleway known as The Cukoo Trail now runs most of the old Cuckoo Line.
